2024 (r-Sr.) | 13/3: Austin appeared in 13 games with three starts at right guard in his lone season with the Hilltoppers. He started the first three games of the season, before being sidelined one game due to injury and playing off the bench the remainder of the season.
Before WKU: Austin appeared in all 14 games for Troy during the 2023 season – his lone year with the Trojans. He helped Troy to an 11-3 overall record, a Sun Belt Conference championship, and a berth in the Birmingham Bowl. Troy finished the season fifth in the Sun Belt in total offense with 419.4 yards per game, with 153.4 rushing and 266 passing. The Trojans were sixth in the league in sacks against with 26 in 2023. Austin played at East Tennessee State for four years prior to his arrival at Troy. He started all 11 games for the Bucs at left tackle his final year there in 2022, after starting all 13 games on the offensive line in 2021 as a redshirt freshman. He appeared in East Tennessee State’s final five games during the 2020 season, with starts in the final three games that season.He made one appearance as a true freshman in 2019.
HS/Misc.: Austin prepped at Science Hill High in Tennessee, where he earned Lineman MVP honors and was named All-State, All-Region, and was a two-time All-Conference selection for the Hilltoppers. He also competed in track and field, volleyball, and basketball. He was an All-Conference volleyball player during his prep career.
