Before WKU: Lopez comes to WKU after spending his first two seasons of college football at Mississippi State. He played in one game – which was in 2025 against Alcorn State – after not seeing any game action and redshirting in 2024. He started his college football career as a walk-on at Mississippi State. He was named to the 2025 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
HS/Misc.: Lopez prepped at Bayou Academy in Mississippi, where he was rated as a three-star offensive tackle and the No. 31 rated player in the state of Mississippi.
