2012-13: (CC): Mokone was WKU's No.2 finisher in all six meets, securing Top 10 finishes on two occasions...Was named first-team All-Sun Belt Conference for the second-straight year following his fourth-place finish at the Sun Belt Conference Cross Country Championships, clocking an 8K time of 25:11.1 in cold conditions...Finished seventh in the season-opening meet at the Belmont Invitational with a time of 15:42.5...Posted a career-best 8K time of 24:37.55 at the Greater Louisville Classic...(Indoor): Mokone became the first non-relay Hilltopper to earn indoor All-American honors since 1992 when he finished 14th in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. His time of 1:49.07 earned him second-team All-America honors...Mokone picked up four wins during the indoor season, including two at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. He won the mile run title at the SBC Championships for the second-straight year while picking up his first-career 800-meter title with a time of 1:55.82. Mokone also nabbed runner-up honors in the 3,000-meter run on his way to being named the meet's Top Point Scorer and the Most Outstanding Male Track Performer for the third time in his track career...Won a pair of 800-meter races during the regular season at the Rod McCravy Memorial and SPIRE Divison I Invitational, clocking a season-best time of 1:48.65 in his victory at the Rod McCravy...(Outdoor): Became the first Hilltopper athlete since Sean Dollman in 1992 to earn All-American honors during the indoor and outdoor seasons after securing second-team All-American honors in the 800-meter run after his 14th-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships...Placed ninth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:51.88 at the NCAA East Preliminary Championships to advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore...Won his seventh overall Sun Belt title and third-straight 1,500-meter run title at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, clocking in at 3:51.71...Recorded the fifth-fastest 800-meter time of the NCAA Outdoor season at the Mt.SAC Relays and shattered his own school record in the event with a blazing 1:47.51. He recorded a personal best 1,500-meter time of 3:43.51 at the Mt.SAC Relays, the fastest time by a WKU runner since 1995 and the third-fastest time in school history.
2011-2012: (CC): Competed in five of six meets, recording Top 10 finishes in three competitions to earn Sun Belt Freshman of the Year honors.... Named to All-Sun Belt Conference team after finishing 4th at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, clocking a time of 24:47.0... Posted a season-best time in the 8,000-meter run at the Greater Louisville Classic, finishing 7th at 24:12.1. (Indoor): Set WKU's indoor 800-meter record at the SPIRE Invitational with a 1:48.61winning clip, breaking Victor Ngubeni's 1:50.10 mark that had stood since 1989....At the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, set a conference-championship record in the mile run with a winning time of 4:10.08. Placed 2nd in the 800-meter run with a 1:53.92 clip and anchored the third-place finishing distance medley relay to earn All-SBC honors in each event. He was named the meet's Most Outstanding Track Performer. (Outdoor): Continued his record breaking during the outdoor season, breaking Ngubeni's 24-year old 800-meter record with a clocking of 1:48.09 at the Mt. SAC Relays....Finished 2nd in the 1,500-meter run at the Florida Relays with a season-best time of 4:47.83....At the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, captured titles in both the 800 and 1,500-meters on his way to being named the meet's Most Outstanding Track Performer.
2010-11: (Indoor): Won both the mile and 3,000m at the MT Valentine Invitational ... Won both the 800m and mile at the Boilermaker Invitational with time of 1:54.1 and 4:15.9, respectively. ... Had three all-Sun Belt performances at the league championships, taking runner-up honors in the 800m at 1:55.0, and placing third in both the mile at 4:16.2 and 3,000m at 8:28.3 ... Clocked a mile time of 4:08.95 at Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational. (Outdoor): Placed eighth in the 1,500m at the Florida Relays with a time of 3:46.9 ... Won the 800m at home, clocking 1:51.8 ... At Mt. SAC, placed sixth in the 1,500m in 3:45.0 while also clocking 9:17.4 in his first career steeplechase ... Won the 800m at the Drake Relays with a time of 1:53.5, while also taking third in the 1,500m in 3:47.5 ... At the Sun Belt outdoor meet, was the champion at 1,500m with a time of 3:53.6, while also earning all-SBC honors with a runner-up finish in the 800m at 1:52.3 and as a member of the second-place 4x400-meter relay team ... Qualified for the NCAA East Prelims, where he clocked a 1,500-meter time of 3:51.4.
