2014-15 (Freshman) - (CC): Brainard raced in the Commodore Classic during her first cross country season.
(Indoor): Brainard did not compete during the 2015 indoor season.
(Outdoor): Brainard competed in five meets during the outdoor season…She posted a pair of Top 10 finished in the 1,500-meter run in back-to-back weeks at the Austin Peay Invitational (7th - 4:53.11) and Bellarmine Classic (6th - 4:56.77)…She raced in the 800 and 1,500 for WKU at the C-USA Outdoor Championships, placing 14th and 15th in the events, respectively.
HIGH SCHOOL: Brainard ran five years of varsity cross country for Collierville High School and was a Tennessee All-State selection as a senior. She holds personal best marks of 5:04 in the mile, 11:05 in the two-mile and 18:29 in the 5K. Brainard was selected as Collierville's track and cross country MVP as a senior.
