2019 (Senior): Appeared in 49 games while making 34 starts primarily at second and third base … Posted a .248/.331/.310 slash line while recording 32 hits, 21 runs, 15 walks, 10 RBI and five doubles … Ranked second on the team with 103 assists in the field while adding 52 putouts … Collected nine multi-hit, five multi-run and two multi-RBI games throughout the season … Tied a career-high with three hits against Florida Atlantic (4/21) while adding a double … Went 3-for-5 against Marshall (4/13) while scoring twice … Hit 2-for-4 against Louisville (4/30) while collecting two RBI and his lone home run of the season.
2018 (Junior): Started 25 games at third base in his first season on The Hill, including the final 23 ... Posted an 11.7% walk rate (11 walks in 94 plate appearances) and 7 of his 14 hits were for extra bases ... Ranked fifth on WKU with a .237/.324/.407 slash line in Conference USA play and tied for second with 7 extra-base hits in league games ... Became the 11th different Hilltopper to hit a homerun in 2018 with his solo shot at Charlotte on May 6 ... Posted 3 multi-hit, 3 multi-run and 4 multi-walk games ... Drove in a career-high 2 runs with a 2-out triple in the second inning on April 21 at UAB.
At Kaskaskia College: During his 2 seasons with the Blue Devils, Brunson played 62 total games and slashed .283/.395/.400 ... He amassed 58 hits, 58 runs and 29 runs batted in ... Of his 58 hits, 16 went for extra bases (12 doubles and 4 homeruns), which contributed to his 82 total bases ...
