Q:
"What is the process and procedure for selecting members for the WKU Athletic
Hall of Fame?" (question asked by Byron Watkins, Madisonville, Ky.)
Dr. Selig:
"Anyone may nominate a former Western athlete or coach for membership in the
WKU Athletic Hall of Fame. However, be aware that the basic criteria requires
that an ahtlete must have completed his/her eligibility a minimum of 10 years
prior to nomination (five years for a coach's nomination). A nomination form
(complete with detailed nomination procedures) may be obtained by contacting
Athletic Trainer Bill Edwards (Training Room, L.T. Smith Stadium, Western
Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY 42101, telephone 270-745-6026) or
Sports Information Director Paul Just (Room 144, E.A. Diddle Arena, Western
