Summer Social Begins Tuesday
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Following another successful year on The Hill, the WKU Athletic Department will begin a new social media campaign built to engage with the fan base throughout the summer months.
The ten-week social media blitz, aimed at keeping fans connected this summer, will offer continued engagement each week through our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
Beginning Tuesday (6/6), the "Summer Social" begins with three unique campaigns.
Here is the official 2017 Summer Social schedule:
Tuesday: Player Spotlight (Facebook/Twitter
Each Tuesday, we will feature one of our returning student-athletes from our Fall sports (Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Football, Men’s and Women’s Golf). Included in the feature will be some fun questions to help you get to better know our student-athletes.
Thursday: Throwback Thursday (Facebook/Instagram)
The 2016-17 academic year proved to be another historic year for WKU Athletics. Each Thursday, we will post a photo from each of our athletic programs and a significant moment from their season.
Fridays: Red Towel Fridays (Twitter)
Are you or your family members traveling anywhere fun this summer? If so, take a picture of yourself (and/or family) holding one of our famous red towels and post it on Twitter (be sure to tag us). We will RT our favorites each week on Friday.
