Meredith 'Moving in Right Direction' Heading into Season
Sophomore (2022-23): Played in 31 games and got the starting nod in 26...Had 11 double digit games in 2022-23 and led the team in scoring in five...Averaged 5.0 rebounds per game on the season, which was the second highest mark on the team...Went 5-for-5 from the 3-point line at Middle Tennessee on Feb. 9, which is the second highest total in program history (Kim Pehlke went 6-of-6 against Vanderbilt)...Had a season high 21 points against the Blue Raiders in that game...Poured in 19 points against UAB...Notched 18 at UAB on Feb. 25, including a 5-of-8 mark from beyond the arc.
Freshman (2021-22): Conference USA Freshman of the Year despite missing the last eight games of the season due to injury…C-USA All-Freshmen Team…Named C-USA Freshman of the Week for the entire month of January, earning the honor four straight weeks…Averaged 12.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game before going down with an injury…Notched 16 double digit games, including four 20-point performances…Had three games with five-or-more steals…Led the team in steals in six games…Had a season high 24 points against Southern Miss…Had 20 points in just her second collegiate game (against North Carolina A&T)…Put up 21 points at FIU and then 20 in the next game at Rice…Had three straight games with eight rebounds (vs. LA Tech, FIU, Rice)…Dished out five assists against Fairleigh Dickinson…Had a buzzer beating shot at Miami (Ohio) to give WKU the win…Had five steals at Rice and followed up with six steals at North Texas just two days later.
High School: Named to the All-State second team as a sophomore after averaging 25.2 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game…Earned 10th Region All-Tournament Team honors…Named to the All-NKAC Div. I and All-Northern Kentucky first teams...Played for Kentucky Premier at the AAU level.
