2021 Phil Steele Preseason All-CUSA Fourth Team
2022 (r-Sr.) | 14/8: Ignont appeared in all 14 games for the Hilltoppers through the 2022 season and made eight starts along the way. Ignont piled up 62 tackles along the way, including a nine-tackle performance in the regular season finale that saw the Tops defeat Florida Atlantic in overtime. In WKU's 44-23 victory over South Alabama in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, Ignont made seven tackles. Ignont also broke up three passes for the season, and recorded 0.5 tackles for loss in the team's win at Hawaii.
2021 (r-Jr.) | 11/11: Ignont started all 11 games he played in during WKU's 2021 run to a Conference USA East Division Championship. He totaled 53 tackles on the year, including 4.5 for loss and 2.5 sacks. Ignont also helped WKU finish second in the nation in takeaways by intercepting one pass and recovering a fumble. His season high for tackles came in the Tops' win over Old Dominion when he tallied nine to go with two sacks. Ignont also pulled together an eight-tackle game against Indiana. He finished the season on C-USA's honorable mention list.
2020 (r-Jr.) | 1/0: Ignont was a member of WKU's practice squad while sitting out the first 11 games due to NCAA transfer rules. Following the conclusion of the Fall 2020 semester, he was eligible to play in the LendingTree Bowl vs. Georgia State and posted three tackles. He will retain his redshirt junior year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before WKU: Ignont spent three seasons at Tennessee. Racked up 68 tackles, two tackles for loss and one pass breakup in 21 games with the Volunteers.
HS/Misc.: Ignont was a two-time Class 7A All-State First Team member during his time at Buckhorn High School. Participated in the 2016 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. Recorded 131 tackles and 22 tackles for loss as a senior. Totaled 91 tackles and six tackles for loss as a junior.
