WKU Career | (39/12): Williams played in 39 games for the Hilltoppers over three seasons, with 12 starts, after transferring from Michigan State. In his WKU career, he totaled 71 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions – including a 45-yard pick-six against Marshall to help the Hilltoppers clinch the Conference USA East Division crown in 2021 – and 12 passes defended.
2023 (r-Sr.) | 13/9: Williams appeared in all 13 games with nine starts in his third and final season at WKU. The cornerback tallied 28 tackles, with 19 solo tackles, an interception, and two pass breakups on the season. He posted a season-high five tackles in the win at Louisiana Tech. Williams' one interception ont he season came at UTEP.
2022 (r-Jr.) | 13/2: Williams played in 13 of WKU's 14 games on the season while making two starts. Williams made 25 tackles on the year, including a season-high five in the team's win against South Alabama in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Williams also made life tough on opposing offenses all season with five pass breakups on the year.
2021 (r-So.) | 13/1: Williams appeared in 13 games during his first season on The Hill. Tallied 18 total tackles (15 solo, three assisted) to go along with two interceptions and two pass breakups.
Before WKU: Williams appeared in 23 games in three seasons at Michigan State, with 14 tackles, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. Played in three games in 2018 and redshirted, then played in all 13 games in 2019, recording six tackles, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. Played in all seven of the Spartans' contests in 2020, tallying eight tackles, including a career-high four vs. No. 10 Indiana.
HS/Misc.: Williams played for head coach Jermain Crowell at Belleville HS. Ranked among the top cornerbacks in the state of Michigan, earning the No. 1 spot from 247Sports and No. 3 by ESPN. Ranked the No. 18 cornerback in the country by 247Sports. Ranked one of the top overall players in the state of Michigan, with the No. 5 spot by 247Sports, No. 16 by MLive, No. 18 by The Detroit News, No. 21 by Rivals.com and No. 24 by ESPN. Earned First Team All-State Division 1 Associated Press and The Detroit News All-State Division 3-4 Team honors as a defensive back. Was also named to the Second Team MLive Detroit Dream Team and Second Team Detroit Free Press All-West. As a senior, helped lead the Tigers to a perfect 9-0 regular season and the Western Wayne Athletic Conference (Blue) title. Belleville finished 10-1 overall and reached the district finals. Also played basketball, earning Class A All-State Honorable Mention as a junior.
