2022 (r-Sr.) | 12/5: In his final season on The Hill, Jones appeared in 12 of WKU's 14 games and made five starts after switching from running back to defensive back. Jones recorded 16 tackles on the year, including 3.5 for loss. He tallied a career-high four tackles against Troy while also earning a quarterback hurry. His lone pass breakup of the season came in the team's win at Hawaii early in the year. Jones also recorded a tackle in WKU's win over South Alabama in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
2021 (r-Jr.) | 9/0: Jones appeared in nine contests for WKU during the team's run to a Conference USA East Division Championship. He carried the ball four times on the year for 17 yards. Jones also brought in two receptions for 20 yards.
2020 (r-Jr.) | 6/0: Jones played in six games in his first year on The Hill, with 21 carries for 144 yards (6.9 average) and two touchdowns. Had a season-high nine carries on Oct. 3 at Middle Tennessee, as well as 57 yards and a long rush of 32 in the LendingTree Bowl vs. Georgia State. Put up late scores against the Panthers and on Dec. 6 at Charlotte. Had three kickoff returns for 55 yards on Oct. 17 at UAB, including a long return of 24 yards. He will retain his redshirt junior year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before WKU: Jones transferred to Blinn CC after redshirting at Texas A&M University, racking up 410 rushing yards and three touchdowns in eight games during 2019.
HS/Misc.: Jones amassed 1,842 rushing yards and 22 rushing touchdowns while adding 12 touchdown receptions during his last two seasons at Cypress Woods High School. Earned First Team All-District honors in both 2014 and 2015.
