2021 (Senior): Started 44 games at shortstop … Produced a .289/.355/.396 slash line … Tied for fourth on the team in batting average … Tied for first on the squad in doubles (13) while ranking fifth in RBI (23) … Ranked first on the team with 111 assists while adding 73 putouts in the field … Racked up 11 multi-hit, four multi-RBI and three multi-run games … Went 3-for-4 at Marshall (4/30) while collecting a career-high three doubles and adding four RBI … Hit 3-for-4 with two runs, one RBI and one double against Bowling Green (3/14).
*2020 (Senior): Started 16 games at shortstop … Produced a .259/.358/.328 slash line … Tied for second on the team in walks (nine), ranked third in runs (13), tied for fourth in RBI (10) and tied for fifth in doubles (four) … Ranked first on the squad with 46 assists while adding 28 putouts and committing only one error for a .987 fielding percentage … Racked up four multi-hit, four multi-run and two multi-RBI games … Produced a career-high five RBI against Purdue (3/7) while going 3-for-5 with one double … Tied a career-high with three runs while hitting a perfect 3-for-3 with an RBI and walk against Austin Peay (2/25) … Went 3-for-6 while scoring two runs at USC Upstate (3/1).
2019 (Junior): Started 55 games at shortstop … Posted a .271/.316/.300 slash line … Ranked third on the team with 56 hits … Added 31 RBI, 24 runs, 14 walks and six doubles … Ranked first on the squad with 140 assists to go along with 74 putouts in the field … Racked up 17 multi-hit, seven multi-RBI and six multi-run games … Posted a career-high four hits against Old Dominion (5/17) while adding one RBI and a run … Tied a season-high with three RBI and two runs while going 3-for-6 against Marshall (4/13) … Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a double against Middle Tennessee (4/7).
2018 (Sophomore): Started every game for the Hilltoppers for the second straight season, joining Jacob Rhinesmith as the only two WKU players to do so ... Has started 100 consecutive games at shortstop and 107 overall since he came to The Hill ... Improved his fielding percentage to .968 (7 errors in 218 chances) as a sophomore from .945 (12 errors in 217 chances) as a freshman ... Ranked sixth on the team with 24 runs scored and tied for third on WKU with 3 homeruns ... His his first career grand slam on April 20 at UAB, giving the Hilltoppers a 9-2 lead in the eighth inning in a game they would eventually win by a score of 13-5 ... Posted 4 multi-RBI games, with WKU going 4-0 in those contests ... Went 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts, improving his career total to 4-for-4 ... Had a team season-high 147 assists on the year, including a career-high-tying 7 helpers vs. Middle Tennessee on March 17 ... Capped the season on an 18-game errorless streak, with 73 consecutive chances without a miscue.
2017 (Freshman): In his first year at WKU, Lambert was the only player on the roster to start all 55 games; the first 7 at third base and final 48 at shortstop ... Was the lone Hilltopper to reach base in the first 12 games of the season, it held as the club's longest such streak until Colie Currie produced a 13-gamer later in the year ... Ranked fourth on the team with 40 hits and 22 runs scored, while he was second with 7 sacrifice bunts ... In a 9-game span from April 14-28, slashed a team-best .419/.438/.677 with 5 multi-hit contests ...Slugged a pair of 2-run shots in each of the first 2 innings April 25 at Austin Peay, joining Wyatt Featherston as first-year Hilltoppers with multi-homerun contests on the evening as WKU slugged a season-high 8 dingers ... Had a career-highs of 3 base hits vs. Charlotte on April 14 and 3 runs scored at Eastern Kentucky on March 8 ... Was 16th among Conference USA non-C/1B with 217 total chances and was a part of 26 double plays turned ... Had a team season-high 127 assists on the year, as well as 7 helpers vs. UAB on March 19.
At East Lake HS: Hit .394 with 22 runs and 20 runs batted in for the Eagles as a senior ... Named Pinellas County First Team and an FACA All-Star as 1 of the top players in the state of Florida ... Went 2-for-6 in the FACA All-Star game with a double and 1 run batted in ... Earned Dunedin Easter Hitter of the Tournament honors and won the Steve Georgiadis Memorial Baseball Leadership Award.

First language is Spanish - lived for 5 years in Tegucigalpa, Honduras ... Favorite athlete is Troy Tulowitzki because of his professionalism and he is the best shortstop in the Majors ... Chose WKU because of the coaching staff and facilities ... Lambert's parents had the biggest influence on his athletic career because they supported and helped him become the best he can, as well as Roberto Mena for teaching him everything he knows about baseball.
