2018 (r-Sr.) | 12/12: Farris led all WKU cornerbacks with 12 starts and had the second-most pass breakups with eight. He recorded 34 tackles (29 solo, 5 assisted) on the season, including a season-high five on two occasions. Farris made his third-career interception on Sept. 29 vs. Marshall, returning it for 47 yards, the longest interception return on the season for the Hilltoppers. His eight pass breakups in his senior season gave him 23 total pass breakups in his career, which ranks fourth-most in WKU FBS history.
2017 (r-Jr.) | 13/11: Farris tied for the lead among WKU cornerbacks with 11 starts and led the team with 14 pass breakups. He recorded 54 tackles (39 solo, 15 assisted) on the season, including a career-high seven on three occasions. He made his second-career interception on Oct. 28 vs. Florida Atlantic, while also picking up a tackle for a six-yard loss and five total tackles on the evening. His 14 pass breakups tied for 13th in FBS and tied for most among Conference USA defenders. He recorded multiple pass breakups in four games, including a career-high four on Sept. 23 vs. Ball State. Those four pass breakups tied a Hilltopper single-game record in the program’s FBS Era.
2016 (r-So.) | 11/0: Farris saw action in 11 games as a reserve defensive back, tallying 10 total tackles (four solo) on the season. Farris also saw time on kickoff coverage units and helped the Hilltoppers to the No. 26 kickoff return defense nationally and second-best cover unit in Conference USA, allowing just 18.68 yards per return.
2015 (r-Fr.) | 13/0: Farris completed his conversion from offense to defense in 2015, seeing time in 13 games and tallying 13 tackles (nine solo) with one tackle for loss at North Texas (Oct. 15). Farris got his first career interception against Miami (Ohio) (Sept. 26). He was also a contributor on special teams, tallying seven kickoff coverage tackles, eighth-most among the team.
2014 (Fr.): Farris redshirted his first season on The Hill. Farris began his career as a wide receiver and converted to safety during the spring of 2015.
HS/Misc.: Farris came to The Hill after a state championship senior season at Martha Layne Collins High School with coach Jerry Lucas. Farris’ 1,051 receiving yards and 682 rushing yards, with 31 total touchdowns, helped the Titans to a KHSAA 5A championship in 2013. Farris was an Associated Press first-team All-State performer as well as a member of the Lexington-Herald Leader’s Class of the Commonwealth and a Best of the Bluegrass All-Star. Farris was a three-star prospect by Scout.com, ESPN.com, and Rivals.com while 247Sports.com rated Farris a two-star. He was the No. 14 prospect in Kentucky by 247Sports.com and the No. 7 prospect by ESPN.com.
