2016 (r-Fr.) | 14/1: Trigg came on strong as a redshirt freshman, appearing in all 14 games, primarily on special teams, but earned the start at FAU. Trigg responded with a massive first-half performance, carrying the rock 15 times for 98 yards with a long rush of 30 yards. On the year, he finished with 298 yards on 71 carries and touchdowns against Houston Baptist and Old Dominion. Trigg also caught two passes for 13 yards with a long of 11 against North Texas. Trigg had 10 or more carries in three games, at FAU, vs. FIU (12/47) and North Texas (15/56).
2015 (Fr.): Trigg redshirted his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Trigg prepped at Glasgow High School where he played for coach Rick Wood, leading his team to an 8-4 record and first round win in the 2-A Kentucky state playoffs. Trigg piled up 1,615 yards on 286 carries with 26 touchdowns as a senior while also finishing second on the team in receiving yards with 147 and one touchdown. Trigg averaged 135 yards per game on the ground and tallied 4,765 yards and 75 touchdowns over his career for the Scotties. For his play in 2014, Trigg was named a Courier-Journal All-State first teamer and Associated Press All-State second teamer.
