BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Athletics and the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation have announced the launch of the WKU Spirit 50/50 Raffle, a new gameday fundraising initiative benefiting the WKU Cheer and Dance programs.
The WKU Spirit 50/50 Raffle will be available at home WKU Football and Men's Basketball games, as well as other select WKU Athletics home events throughout the year. For each raffle, one winner will receive 50% of the total raffle proceeds, less applicable taxes and withholdings, with the remaining proceeds supporting WKU Cheer and Dance.
"We are thrilled to introduce the WKU Spirit 50/50 Raffle and create another way for our incredible fans to be part of what we are building within WKU Spirit," WKU Head Cheerleading Coach Alli Lumpkin said. "Not only does the raffle give our fans an exciting opportunity to win, but it also allows them to directly support the continued growth and success of WKU Cheer and Dance. We are excited to launch this initiative and look forward to seeing our fans get involved throughout the season."

Fans will be able to purchase raffle tickets both in person at participating events and online at WKUSpirit5050.com. Online participation is available to eligible individuals who are physically located within the Commonwealth of Kentucky at the time of purchase. Raffles may open online prior to the participating event. Visit WKUSpirit5050.com for more information on raffle start dates. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Additional eligibility restrictions apply.
At the conclusion of each raffle sales period, one winning ticket number will be selected at random. Winning numbers will be posted at WKUSpirit5050.com, will also be announced through the venue's public address system and, when available, displayed on the video board and other displays. Participants do not need to be present at the drawing to win. Winners are responsible for checking WKUSpirit5050.com for the winning number and must claim their prize within 30 days of the drawing. WKU Spirit 50/50 raffle winners will have the option to donate their winnings back to the WKU Spirit programs to further support WKU Cheer and Dance teams.
Proceeds from the raffle will help support the WKU Cheer and Dance programs, providing additional resources for the spirit squads that represent WKU at athletic events, university functions, competitions and appearances throughout the community.
The Hilltopper Athletic Foundation serves as the organizing entity for the WKU Spirit 50/50 Raffle. The raffle is conducted pursuant to applicable Commonwealth of Kentucky charitable gaming regulations.
