HOOVER, Ala. – WKU Women's Tennis lost 4-0 to UAB on Saturday at the Hoover Met Tennis Center.
The Lady Toppers (8-12) picked up a doubles victory at the No. 2 position from Ariadna Fernandez and Barbara Olvera in the loss to the Blazers (8-9).

NOTABLES
- WKU falls to 8-12 overall with the loss.
- Arianda Fernandez and Barbara Olvera improved to 2-0 when playing together in doubles this season. The duo also claimed a doubles victory together Friday in WKU's match at Jax State. Both matches were played at the No. 2 position.
- Olvera improved to 9-9 in doubles matches this season. She is 7-6 when playing at the No. 2 doubles position.
- The doubles win was the third for Fernandez this season. It was her second at the No. 2 position.
