BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball is set to host Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night for WKU professors on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m. CT, as the Hilltoppers take on New Mexico State.
“Faculty recognition like this MVP award helps bridge a divide that can exist between academic units and athletic programs,” said Dr. Holli Dummond, Assistant Provost for Student Success and Online Learning/Professor of Sociology and Criminology. “This acknowledgement builds trust, encourages collaboration and fosters a shared sense of responsibility for student success across campus.”
In anticipation of the event, WKU Hilltopper Basketball student-athletes presented “Most Valuable Professor” certificates to one of their professors they wanted to recognize for their meaningful impact they have had both inside and beyond the classroom.
