BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball fans have an opportunity to increase the impact of their support through a combined $200,000 matching gift commitment from Mahurin Family Foundation Head Coach Hank Plona and Hilltopper Athletic Foundation members Jim and Eva Martens.
Plona and the Martens have each committed up to $100,000 to match gifts supporting Hilltopper Basketball through February 28, 2027. The commitments provide fans, alumni and supporters an opportunity to join them in investing in the program's future.
Supporters are encouraged to make a gift during the campaign to help unlock the available matching funds and provide additional support for Hilltopper Basketball.

The Hilltoppers open the 2026-27 season hosting Morehead State on Monday, Nov. 2. Tipoff inside E.A. Diddle Arena is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT, with the game streaming live on ESPN+. Tickets to the game can be purchased HERE.
Season and single-game tickets for WKU Hilltopper Basketball are on sale now for the 2026-27 season, with men's basketball season tickets starting at $75 per seat, plus an additional HAF donation. Fans can secure seats by purchasing HERE, calling 1-800-5-BIGRED or visiting the WKU ticket office at Diddle Arena.
