BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Football announced game themes and suggested colors for fans to wear for the six home games in the upcoming 2025 season on Wednesday.
WKU will be one of the first teams to take the field in 2025 when it faces Sam Houston in a Week 0 Conference USA matchup at Houchens-Smith Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear red to support the Hilltoppers in the 6 p.m. CT season opener against the Bearkats.
The Hilltoppers will be back home the following week for its annual White Out game. The Aug. 30 matchup against North Alabama is slated to kick off at 6 p.m. CT and fans are encouraged to wear white to Houchens-Smith Stadium.
WKU returns home on Sept. 20 to face Nevada in a 6 p.m. CT game. Fans are encouraged to celebrate WKU's Parent & Family Weekend at Houchens-Smith Stadium and to wear red to the game.
After back-to-back road games, WKU will host FIU in a Weekday CUSA showdown on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The 7 p.m. CT game will be WKU's annual Black Out game, and fans are encouraged to wear black to Houchens-Smith Stadium.
WKU wraps up its home slate with two November games. The Hilltoppers will celebrate Homecoming against New Mexico State on Nov. 1, and will celebrate Senior Day against "100 Miles of Hate" rival Middle Tennessee on Nov. 15. Both games are scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT, and fans are encouraged to wear red to both.
