BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Soccer has announced seven signees for the 2026 class. The class includes two from both Indiana and Tennessee and one from Kentucky, South Carolina, and Virginia.
"We are excited to build on the success of our 2025 season," said head coach Jason Neidell. "We feel that these student-athletes embody both the values and soccer ability to help push our championship culture to another level."
Kaitlyn Daley
Mount Juliet, Tennessee | Wilson Central High School | Midfielder | 5'7
While at Wilson Central, Daley started in all 69 games she appeared in. Daley tallied 42 goals and notched 19 assists for a total of 103 points. In 2022 and 2023 Wilson Central High School finished as district runner ups. Daley earned several accolades during her high school career. She was named Freshman of the Year in 2022 and was named All-District First-Team. The next three years; 2023, 2024, and 2025 Daley was Midfield MVP and All-District First-Team.
Daley played club soccer with Kings Hammer Murfreesboro Elite GA 08G for four years. In 2025, her team was a Tennessee D1 State Cup Finalist, Finished second in the Tennessee D1 State League, was a USYS Southern Regional semifinalist, and earned a trip to the NPL National Semifinals. In 2024, her team finished second in the Tennessee D1 State League and earned a trip to the USYS Southern Regional Quarterfinals. Throughout those two years, Daley tallied 36 goals and 16 assists. In 2024-25 she was tied-first in scoring in the D1 Tennessee State League. In 2023-24, Daley finished second in scoring in the D1 Tennessee State League. Daley was also a member of the Tennessee ODP Southern Regional ID camp in 2023.
Neidell on Daley:
"Kaitlyn is an athletic and versatile player who will add much-needed depth as a wide player. She has an engine that allows her to play endline to endline and suits her well for the transitional element of college soccer."
Rose Finnegan
Greenville, South Carolina | Greer Middle College Charter High School | Midfielder | 5'6
While with Greer Middle College, Finnegan started in all 50 games played in and scored 84 goals along with 45 assists. Her team won the region championship three years in a row (2022, 2023, 2024) and managed a seven-game winning streak during that period. In 2023, the team won the Sabalier Cup, finishing with an 11-5-2 record. While there, Finnegan was named All-Region 3-AAA, All-State, Offensive MVP, and Region Player of the Year.
Finnegan played club soccer for Carolina Elite Soccer Academy for 11 years. Finnegan scored over 21 goals and notched eight assists. In 2023, the team made the national final round of 16. They finished second in the conference in 2025. The team qualified for the playoffs every single year. Individually, she was named ECNL First Team All-Conference in 2025 and was invited to the Finnish National Camp. Finnegan also played with the Carolina Ascent USL-SL Pathway to Pro and scored five goals with the GVL Liberty USL Academy in 2025.
Neidell on Finnegan:
"Rose is a fun player to watch. She is active on and off the ball, plays physically far beyond her size, and loves to compete. She is a great setup player who can also score herself. She takes great pride and initiative in her own development."
Lola Horstman
Westfield, Indiana | Westfield High School | Midfielder | 5'7
Horstman was a four year varsity starter with Westfield and the team managed a 41-18-12 record over the four years Horstman was with the team. One of the team's biggest accomplishments during those four years was the Panther Classic Championship. Individually, Horstman was named Panther Classic Players to Watch List, Indiana High School Soccer Indy Star Superteam Honorable Mention, and a Key Player in the Indy Star High School Soccer Fab 15 Team Rankings.
Horstman played club soccer for six years with Indy Eleven Pro Academy ECNL and was a team captain. While there, the team won the ECNL Ohio Valley Conference Championship in 2024-25. That year, the club boasted an undefeated 9-0-2 mark in conference play. Overall, the team qualified for the ECNL Playoffs four times while Horstman was a member of the team. Individually, she was named to the ECNL Ohio Valley All-Conference Team. Horstman also played with the Chicago Fire emerging talent program (invite only) and was named Emerging Talent Program Best 11.
Neidell on Horstman:
"Lola is a polished midfielder with great passing and shooting range. She has good size and will quickly adapt to the physicality of the college game. As captain of her Indy 11 ECNL team, she is a strong and competitive leader."
Tyler Roth
Knoxville, Tennessee | Bearden High School | Midfielder | 5'2
While at Bearden, Roth scored 30 goals and notched 63 assists. Roth also set the school record for assists in a single season in 2025, breaking the record with 29 assists. She led her team to the Tennessee State Championship in 2022, 2023, and 2025. In 2022 Bearden was ranked No. 1 nationally. Individually, Roth earned All-District and All-Region in both 2023 and 2025. In 2025 Roth was named to the All-State Team.
Roth played club soccer for FC Alliance 08G ECNL for seven years. While there, the team won the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Championship and qualified for the Champions League at nationals in 2025. In 2024, the team qualified for the North American Cup at nationals. In 2021, Roth was invited to the U.S. Identification Camp.
Neidell on Roth:
"Tyler is a shifty midfielder who has the ability to unlock opponents on the pass or dribble. She will be graduating early and joining the team in January, and we are thrilled to help her transition to the college game during our spring exhibition segment."
Erica Skrodzki
Goshen, Kentucky | North Oldham High School | Midfielder | 5'7
While at North Oldham, Skrodzki started in all 53 games she played in and played a role in 34 wins throughout her career. She scored 17 goals and assisted in eight during her time at North Oldham. Her team was the 2025 KHSAA District 29 Runner-Up, marking the first time in five years that North Oldham made it to the regional playoff round.
Skrodzki played club soccer for ECNL Purple 2007 Racing Academy Louisville from 2021-2026. Prior to that she played for Javanon FC 2007 from 2017-2021. In 2024-25, her team started the season with wins over Ohio Elite Soccer Academy and FC Alliance. The team also had a win over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in a season of growth for the group. Skrodzki also had the opportunity to play for the Racing W League Team during the Spring of 2024.
Neidell on Skrodzki:
"Erica is a versatile and athletic player who has been in a great environment with Racing Louisville, where she has had opportunities with both the youth academy and USLW side. Erica understands what it takes to excel at the highest level."
Emma Teague
Newburgh, Indiana | Reitz Memorial High School | Goalkeeper | 5'7
While at Reitz, Teague played in 78 games and tallied 5,206 minutes. She managed 51 shutouts, and had 526 saves with only 41 goals against for a goals against average of 0.637. While there, Reitz won the 2022 Class 2A Indiana State Championship, a 2023 Regional Championship, and most recently a 2025 Sectional Championship. Individual honors for Teague include 2022, 2023, and 2024 Courier and Press All-Metro Team; 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 First Team All-District; First Team All-City in 2022, 2024, and 2025; First Team All-SIAC in 2022, 2024, and 2025; Second Team All-City and Second Team All-SIAC in 2023. Teague also earned state recognition, earning Third Team in 2022, Honorable Mention in 2023, and First Team in 2024. Teague was also named 2024 United Soccer Coaches All-Region and 2024 Academic All-State.
Teague played club soccer for Racing Louisville FC Academy for three years in the ECNL League. Her team won the 2024 St. Louis ECNL Club Event 06/07 age group. Teague was named 2023 ECNL RL All-Region Team. She also played for Racing Louisville USL W League in 2024 and 2025 and was selected to play for the 2023 U.S. Youth International Futsal Team in France.
Neidell on Teague:
"Emma will flourish within our competitive goalkeeper unit. She has been trained by former Hilltopper great, Libby Stout. She is a great goalkeeper with good game instincts and is well prepared to make an impact at the college level."
Raegan Thompson
Virginia Beach, Virginia | Kellam High School | 5'5 | Center Back
At Kellam, Thompson led her team to a State Championship in 2024 and back-to-back 5A Region Championships in 2024 and 2025. In her career, Thompson scored 41 goals, notched 19 assists, and tallied a total of 104 points. Thompson was named First Team All-State in 2024 and 2025, All-Tidewater First Team in 2024 and 2025, as well as First Team All-Region in 2024 and 2025.
Thompson played for Beach FC 08 ECNL on the club side for seven years and was the captain for six years. Her team won the state cup in 2020. Thompson was also a member of the FCNE '08 Team in 2025 and the 757 All-Star Team in 2024 and 2025.
Neidell on Thompson:
"Raegan is a team leader and is a smart and athletic defender. She is physical and moves her feet well to lock down opponents. Raegan makes really good decisions in starting her team's build out phase."
