BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Conference USA announced its 2025 All-Academic Team on Friday with WKU Volleyball's Callie Bauer earning a spot on the team for the third time in her career.
Bauer is a fifth-year senior majoring in business management and posted a 3.88 GPA during the regular season. Academically, she's earned both a spot on the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal three years straight.
On the court, Bauer has been a steady presence for the Hilltoppers. Earlier this season, she became only the sixth setter in program history to cross the 4,000 assists benchmark.
She's recorded six matches with at least 40 assists and has finished in double-digit assists in all but one match. Her best performance this season was 54 assists against Sam Houston on Sept. 18. Bauer is also a weapon at almost every position, racking up 71 kills, 20 service aces, 181 digs, and 22 total blocks.
The Michigan native has also posted three double-doubles this season.
She's also led the Hilltoppers to top five rankings on the national stage in hitting percentage (5th, .305), assists per set (5th, 13.52), and kills per set (14.46). As an individual, Bauer is 39th in assists per set (10.07) and 75th in total assists (856). At the conference level, she's second in assists per set and third in total assists while leading WKU to the best hitting percentage, kills per set, and assists per set.
WKU wraps up their regular season slate against Liberty this weekend and will head to Miami for the CUSA Tournament Championship next week.
