BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- WKU Volleyball is excited to announce two signees to the 2026 signing class. The class includes one player from Indiana and one from Tennessee. Both will be joining the Hilltoppers in the fall of 2026.
"We have a tremendous young core of players in our program right now," said head coach Travis Hudson. "Eliza and Cali are the two missing pieces on what could be some very special WKU volleyball teams for the next few years."
Calista Foster
Lafayette, Indiana | Benton Central Jr-Sr High School | DS/L | 5'9"
Foster was a four-year member and two-year captain at Benton Central Jr-Sr High School and was also the team MVP in 2024. During her four years, she posted 1,441 kills, 994 digs, 284 service aces, and has a career .364 hitting percentage. She was named All-Conference, All-Area, and All-Region three times and was named 1st Team All-State twice. She was a four-time Hoosier Conference champion, a three-time sectional champion and led her team to state runners up in 2025.
Foster played for the Academy Boilers Juniors for a total of 13 years. She and her team were three-time AAU Open National Champions. In addition, she is a two-time AAU Open Runner-Up, placed third in AAU Nationals three times, and placed third in USAV Nationals. Foster was named a three-time AAU All-American and 2021 AAU Nationals MVP. She was named to the JVA All-American Watch List five times and received an invite to the Under Armour Next Camp invite four times.
"Cali Foster is the total package," saud Hudson. "First and foremost, she is a terrific kid and teammate. She will strengthen our culture from day one. eyond that she is a multi-talented volleyball player. Although her biggest focus here will be in the back row, she is a terrific attacker and will help our team in many different ways. I'm very excited to get her on campus.
Eliza McKnight
Brentwood, Tennessee | Brentwood High School | MB | 6'0"
McKnight was a four-year starter for Brentwood High School and racked up a total of 1,760 kills during her four years. She was the 2025 District MVP, a four-time All-District member, a three-time All-District Tournament Team member, was named All-Region and All-Region MVP once, and was the 2024 All-Region MVP. McKnight was also named to the All-State team in 2024 and was an AVCA All-Region selection in 2025. She was also the 2024 William County Player of the Year and was a Prep Dig State of Tennessee Player of the Year nominee that same year. She was a 2025 Under Armour Next Games All-American Watchlist member and was the 2025 Breakout Player of the Year. During all four years of her high school career, she helped lead Brentwood to top five finishes in the state tournament that included two runners up finishes.
On the club side, McKnight played for Alliance Volleyball.
"Eliza is poised to become the next in a very long line of special middle hitters here at WKU," said Hudson. "She is a dynamic athlete with an explosive arm swing and can attack from multiple positions. On top of her natural gifts, she is a very determined, competitive kid. Her future on The Hill is very exciting."
