BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU's 332 Student-Athletes continued to excel in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year, compiling a cumulative GPA of 3.17 following the spring semester.
Ten of WKU's 14 sport programs have a team cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, while eight hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30.
A record 222 student-athletes were named to the 2023-24 CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.0+ GPA), while 74 were selected to the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal (3.75+ GPA).
A total of 81 student-athletes graduated in the spring semester or will graduate this summer. WKU's summer graduate GPA average is 3.34, and the average GPA of those graduating in the spring and summer is 3.32. WKU had 33 student-athletes graduate in December.
WKU has continued to achieve high standards in the classroom, earning its highest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) in program history (88%) in the latest report released by the NCAA last December.
