BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Football game times and television networks for the 2024 season were announced Thursday.
WKU also announced the 2024 homecoming game will be on Nov. 16 against Louisiana Tech.
WKU's season-opener at Alabama on Aug. 31 had previously been announced as a 6 p.m. CT game that will be televised nationally on ESPN.
The Hilltoppers' 2024 home opener against Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 7 will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and will be streamed on ESPN+. WKU will follow with its first Conference USA matchup of the season at Middle Tennessee on Sept. 14. That game will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and will be streamed on ESPN+. The Hilltoppers then return to Houchens-Smith Stadium for a 6 p.m. CT game against Toledo on Sept. 21 – a game that will be on ESPN platforms. The matchup with the Rockets will be during WKU's Parent & Family Weekend. WKU will wrap up nonconference play at Boston College on Sept. 28. The game time and television network for that game have not yet been announced.
WKU will begin its CUSA October midweek slate with a 7 p.m. CT game at home against UTEP on Oct. 10. The matchup with the Miners will be televised on ESPNU. The following two games at Sam Houston and against Kennesaw State will kick off at 7 p.m. CT on Oct. 16 and at 6:30 p.m. CT on Oct. 30, respectively, and both games will air on ESPN2.
WKU will travel to New Mexico State for a 5 p.m. CT game on Nov. 9. That game will air on ESPN platforms. The homecoming game against Louisiana Tech on Nov. 16 will kick off at 11 a.m. CT and will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. WKU will close out the regular season with games that will air on ESPN platforms at Liberty on Nov. 23 at noon CT and at home against Jax State on Nov. 30 at 2:30 p.m. CT
All games designated as ESPN Platforms are subject to the 12-day selection window and all kick times are subject to change based upon television placement.
CUSA's 20th annual Championship Game, pitting the top-two finishers during conference play, will be played on Friday, Dec. 6, on CBS Sports Network during championship week. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. CT.
