BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hilltopper Basketball freshman guard Teagan Moore has been named Conference USA Freshman of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league on Sunday. Moore posted a team high of 16 points off 5-for-10 shooting from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 mark at the free throw line in Saturday's regular-season finale facing Liberty.

Moore also accounted for two assists, two steals and one rebound in the game against the Flames. The freshman native of the Commonwealth connected on a pair of shots at the stripe late in the game to cut the Tops' deficit to three with 50 seconds remaining, then was credited with an assist on teammate Dontaie Allen's three-pointer with 9 seconds left in regulation to once again cut the team's deficit to three.

WKU fell short facing Liberty, 82-79, to close the 2023-24 regular season.
