BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With the start of the fall sports season right around the corner, WKU Athletics is excited to announce the return of both the Tyson Helton and Travis Hudson coaches shows beginning Monday, Aug. 22.
The Travis Hudson Show will run from 6-7 p.m. CT each week with the Tyson Helton Show following immediately from 7-8 p.m. CT. The first-two shows this year will be private events for invited guests but can still be heard from home.
The Travis Hudson Show will run exclusively on WKU Athletics' Facebook Live with the new Voice of the WKU Volleyball, Brad Klein, while the Tyson Helton Show can be found in Bowling Green on the flagship stations for the Hilltopper Sports Network – 100.7 FM (WKLX) or 1450 AM (WWKU) – in Nashville on Nashville Sports Radio 95.9 FM/560 AM (WNSR) or in Louisville on 96.1 FM/1450 AM (WXVW). It will also stream on WKU Athletics' Facebook Live.
The first opportunity to attend both coaches shows in person will come on Tuesday, Sept. 6, when the shows will be live at Colton's Steakhouse in Glasgow, Ky. Following three more weeks of private events, the shows will return to their usual location on Monday nights at Roosters in Bowling Green where fans are welcome to attend. WKU Volleyball opens its season Friday, Aug. 26, against Miami (OH) at the Bradley Tournament in Peoria, Ill. The Lady Tops open their home slate versus in-state rival Louisville on Wednesday, Aug. 31, in the friendly confines of Diddle Arena. WKU Football begins the 2022 campaign Saturday, Aug. 27, versus Austin Peay at Houchens-Smith Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.
