BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — A total of 204 WKU student-athletes were named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll the league announced on Thursday for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better during the 2021-22 academic year. It is the second most student-athletes WKU has placed on the list since joining C-USA, behind the 208 who earned the honor in 2020-21.
Every WKU program placed at least five on the list and nine had more than 10. Football had the most honorees with 40 total. Baseball had 31 earn the award and women's soccer had 28 on the list.
A total of 3,532 student-athletes earned the honor this year across Conference USA.
Student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better will also receive the Commissioner's Academic Medal. Those recipients will be announced on Friday.
