Lady Topper Basketball Camps Announced

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU women's basketball has announced its camp dates for the 2021 summer. The Lady Toppers will host a Lil' Topper Camp and an Individual Camp on June 21-24.

The Lil' Topper Camp is for girls entering kindergarten through fifth grade and will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The Individual Camp is for girls entering sixth through ninth grade and runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cost for each camp is $110 per camper.

The Lil' Topper Camp is designed to introduce the game of basketball to young players. Techniques taught include ball handling and shooting while stressing the importance of teamwork.

The Individual Camp is intended to help improve and develop the overall skills of the game for each camper.

The camps will be limited to 80 individuals for each session on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration is open online. Campers can also register over the phone by calling Ivy Brown at 270-745-6831. There is a 15% discount for groups of five or more, but that discount can only be applied over the phone.
