Head Coach Mike Sanford Radio and TV Shows Ready to Roll

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The 100th season of WKU Football is rapidly approaching. To help Hilltopper fans get ready for kickoff, the Mike Sanford Radio Show and 'Coaches Corner with Mike Sanford' television show are set to return to the airwaves beginning Wednesday, August 29 and Thursday, August 30, respectively.

Each week, the one-hour radio show will go live at 7 p.m. and can be heard in Bowling Green on the flagship stations for the Hilltopper IMG Sports Network, 100.7 FM (WKLX) or 1450 AM (WWKU), in Nashville on Nashville Sports Radio 95.9 FM/560 AM (WNSR) or in Louisville on 96.1 FM/1450 AM (WXVW). Once again, radio shows and games will be streamed for FREE on TuneIn.com and are available via the TuneIn app for Android and iPhones.

Starting October 3, fans are invited on site to enjoy the radio shows. That Wednesday, the crew will set up at Colton's Steak House in Glasgow. The following eight radio shows, beginning Wednesday, October 10, will be located at Roosters in Bowling Green.

Hosted by the Voice of the Hilltoppers, Randy Lee, the Mike Sanford Radio Show is a live show with previews of the week to come, reviews of the week that was, and also includes a question-and-answer segment. Fans can interact directly with the show by sending their questions for Coach Sanford and guests to the team's official Twitter account, @WKUFootball, while using the hashtag "#AskSanford" on Twitter. JBK Network Consulting has an online submission form HERE through WKUSports.com where fans can also submit a question.

The Coaches Corner, hosted by Terry Obee, is a 30-minute weekly television show airing locally twice a week on WKU PBS (Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. CT and Saturdays at 10 a.m. CT) and once in Louisville on WBNA at 10:30 a.m. ET. Each weekly show will feature behind-the-scenes looks inside the locker room, player and coach interviews and weekly game highlights.
