GEORGE FANT, Seattle Seahawks
Fant saw playing time as a blocking tight end against the Oakland Raiders. The Seahawks defeated the Raiders, 27-3, as they head into the bye week. Fant coming in as a tight end for the Seahawks has proved effective and has helped establish a solid run game. This was noticed by quarterback Russell Wilson this past Wednesday when speaking on Fant's performance against the Rams, "He's a great competitor, he's a great athlete, he can see things. I thought he did a tremendous job against a very, very good defense last week."
FORREST LAMP, Los Angeles Chargers
Lamp saw time at guard against the Cleveland Browns. The Chargers defeated the Browns, 38-14, and will be hosting fellow pro Hilltopper Taywan Taylor and the Titans next Sunday. It was the first time Lamp has taken the field for the Chargers after recovering from an injury that kept him sidelined through his rookie season in 2017.
TAYWAN TAYLOR, Tennessee Titans
Taylor brought in one of his two targets for 13 yards against the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans fall to the Ravens, 21-0, and will be flying west to take on the Los Angeles Chargers next Sunday.
