Highlights of those additions include:

South Lawn Concerts
In WKU's continued effort to build a vibrant, festive atmosphere on South Lawn – one of the nation's premier tailgating spots just steps away from the game field – local bands and musicians will perform a free concert, beginning at 3 p.m., on South Lawn. For the season opener, The Vivation will play a full set throughout the afternoon.
Hilltopper Car Smash Zone
This season, Hilltopper fans will have an opportunity to make an early hit on the opposing team with the Hilltopper Car Smash Zone presented by Final Finish Body Shop in South Lawn. Fans will be able to take a hammer to a car painted for the opposing team for a donation of $5 in support of the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation.
WKU AG Day on South Lawn
This weekend's football game will feature an "Ag Corner" display in South Lawn, the first 300 people visiting the area will receive a free brisket slider courtesy of CPC Commodities . This family friendly zone will feature Southland Dairy Farmers Mobile Dairy Classroom, CPC Commodities' Mini-Farm Display, and a wide range of information about the Kentucky Agriculture industry.
Tailgate and Celebrate
For all home football games, the WKU Alumni Association will host a tent on South Lawn opening two-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff and closing 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Worry-free tailgating with food and beverages available. A full barbeque spread including pulled chicken sandwiches, apple-bacon slaw, macaroni & cheese, Big Red brownies, and non-alcoholic beverages will be sure, and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $15 for members of the Alumni Association, $20 for non-members, and children 10 and under get in free. For more information, contact Laura Smith at alumnievents@wku.edu.
