AVCA Poll
LEXINGTON, Ky. – After being picked to four-peat by Conference USA coaches, WKU Volleyball has received votes in the AVCA Preseason Coaches Poll, registering 98 points to rank 27th in the standings.
The Lady Toppers closed the 2016 campaign just outside of the top 25 as well, coming in at 26th after securing the program's 10th NCAA Tournament appearance.
Four of the Red and White's 2017 opponents appeared in the poll or receiving votes including Wednesday's exhibition foe, Kentucky, coming in at No. 14 after a second round exit from the NCAA Tournament last year. Ohio State came in at No. 21 after a 22-13 campaign and NCAA Tournament showing last season. Dayton claimed the 28th slot with 71 points while Pittsburgh ranked 32nd with 49 points.
