IRVING, Texas – WKU Cross Country's Taylor Scarbrough has been announced by the league office as an InTouch Credit Union All-Academic honoree. The sophomore Hilltopper was one of six student-athletes named to the men's list while six more competitors earned recognition on the women's side across the league.
Scarbrough competed in all four of WKU's meet this past season and was the Hilltoppers' third finisher in each race. The Canton, Ga., native posted a season-best 8K mark at Pre-Nationals up in Louisville, Ky., clocking a 25:44.6 – a new career-best mark as well. Scarbrough was one of three Hilltoppers to compete in every meet during the 2017 campaign and has not missed a meet during his time on The Hill.
In the classroom, Scarbrough owns a perfect 4.0 GPA pursuing a finance major. The full list of honorees can be found below.
