For co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Brian Brohm, scouting the Crimson Tide reminding him of his own playing days in the NFL.
"We've got our work cut out for us, but I think our guys are excited about the game," Brohm said. "They've got some of the best talent and coaches in the country. That's why they are the No. 1 team in the country. Watching them on film, it took me back to playing in the NFL and studying teams. They've got some guys who can really run around and tackle and do things the right way."
Junior quarterback Mike White, the reigning Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, thought his team, mentally, was preparing the right way no matter the opponent.
"They line up and say ‘I'm better than you are', and I like that. I respect that," White said. "We've got to go out there, dissect the defense and attack where they are open. We're going to go out there like it's no different than any other day and play our butts off."
