
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- When the Hilltoppers host their first-ever Southeastern Conference opponent next weekend, Saturday, Sept. 24, fans of the Red and White can be a part of another piece of history by packing Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium to the brim and selling out the Vanderbilt game which is set for a 3:30 p.m. CT kick off.
Using the promotional code "SELLOUTVANDY" online at WKUTickets.com, fans can get $5 off their single-game ticket price to help WKU surpass the attendance record of 23,252 set against Southern Miss on 2012.
To track the progress, the homepage of WKUSports.com will have a live countdown of the remaining tickets available beginning now until kickoff.
Fans attending the game are also encouraged to be in their seats by kick off to be a part of the first-ever Gigapixel photo, set to be captured during the first quarter of the game. Once processed, fans will be able to go online, tag their photo and share the day with friends and family around the world.
The first 5,000 fans will receive a brand new, world famous WKU red towel and the first 1,000 students will receive a free RED OUT t-shirt, as all fans are encouraged to wear RED for the game.
