BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Coming off a regular-season tournament title in Missouri last weekend, the WKU volleyball team (6-2) looks to keep the momentum rolling when it travels down to Nashville, Tenn., on Tuesday to face Lipscomb (5-1) at 6:30 p.m. CT.
For information on how to view the game, visit Lipscomb's athletics site, LipscombSports.com. In-game updates will also come via Twitter with @WKUVolleyball.
Lipscomb will bring an experienced squad to this year's match, as over half of the team is juniors or seniors. The Lady Bisons are receiving votes in the AVCA Top 25 Poll after defeating No. 22 Kansas and SEC-foe Missouri so far this season.
"Our schedule lines up really well for us this week as we sit at 6-2," WKU head coach Travis Hudson said. "We are at a good place. We play two fabulous opponents in our next two matches. We play at Lipscomb who is getting votes in the top 25, have wins against big-time opponents. They are just having a fabulous year, and are very experienced. We are just walking into a bit of a buzzsaw there on Tuesday. Then we have No. 8 Purdue walking in here on Friday night.
"It's a really good time to play a stretch like this because we are going to get exposed. I won't be shocked when we do. We have a lot still to get better at. It's my hope that we do get exposed this week because we have a full week of practice next week that will allow us to get better as conference play approaches."
