BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - WKU closed out their week of preparation for their inaugural Conference USA game on Thursday inside Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium, a one-plus hour of light work as the Tops prepare to reignite a rivalry with Middle Tennessee on Saturday.
Saturday's game will air locally in Bowling Green on WKU PBS, the station announced today. The chan-nel can be found on channel 917 (HD) or 11 (SD) on Time Warner or channel 24 on Dish Network. The station can also be picked up on an over-the-air antenna on channel 24.1
Head Coach Jeff Brohm, in speaking to the media following the session, spoke highly of his team's preparations leading up to the game on Saturday.
"These last two games were great games to prepare us for the conference (schedule)," Brohm said. "You're trying to win the conference, and there's a lot of parity in this conference. I think we had a re-ally good week of practice. I think (the players) understand the we went out, played hard, and unfor-tunately we lost."
Brohm was also confident his squad has learned from their defeat last weekend at Illinois and has fo-cused in on the Blue Raiders since then.
"We took the time to learn from our mistakes," the first-year head coach noted. "Now, it's time to get back to the grind, to getting better. Our guys are going to go out there, play hard and lay it all out there."
The game will also air on the Conference USA Digital Network as part of a league subscription package which also includes three future WKU football home games as well as live streams of WKU volleyball, men's and women's basketball and more as well as content from every member school of C-USA. Yearly and monthly packages are available. Sign up by clicking THIS LINK.
