On Monday, April 12, students from Metcalfe County Schools visited WKU as part of their "Sharpening the Saw Day," allowing the students to learn about the importance of going to college and getting an education. The students were able to learn more about WKU and what opportunities are available in the future for them. As part of their visit, the students were able to spend some time with WKU student-athletes and learn about the importance of academics and life as a student-athlete. WKU student-athletes also performed drills and exercises with the 2nd grade students.
