BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - WKU tennis will face two in-state opponents this weekend. The Lady Toppers (3-2) will play at Morehead State on Friday at 7 p.m. with the Hilltoppers' (2-2) match with the Eagles set for Saturday at 1 p.m. Both teams will then turn around to play at Murray State Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Lady Toppers are coming off a split weekend where they beat Bellarmine 6-1 after losing to Austin Peay 4-3. Senior Alex Crofford continues her strong year with her 4-1 record in singles play. WKU took last season's meeting with Morehead State 7-0.
The Hilltoppers started the season 2-0, but are now looking to end a two-game losing streak. Senior Josh Smith leads the team with his 4-0 record in singles play.
