- WKU fell to 10-6 (2-1) on the season while Georgia State improved to 10-6 (3-0) on the year.

- WKU is now 24-7 at home under head coach Ray Harper
- WKU out-rebounded Georgia State 43-35, marking the six straight game in which the Hilltoppers have out-rebounded or equaled their opponent in rebounds
- WKU eclipsed the 40-rebound mark for the eighth time this season and tied a season high with 43 boards in the contest.
- WKU grabbed 22 offensive rebounds, its highest output in the past two seasons. The Hilltoppers have snagged 20 or more offensive rebounds on just three occasions the past two seasons, 20 at Wichita State on Nov. 12, 2013, 20 at Troy on Dec. 1, 2012 and 23 tonight.
