BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Western Kentucky University volleyball team (27-5) takes on the field in its final Sun Belt Conference Tournament in program history. No. 1 WKU looks to survive and advance to its third-straight tourney crown and fourth-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
The Lady Toppers' first challenge as the No. 1 seed will be host and No. 8 seed Troy (12-20) on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. CT in Trojan Arena. If WKU moves on, the team will face either No. 4 UT Arlington or No. 5 South Alabama on Friday, Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m. CT.

First-Round Match vs. Troy
Four days after meeting in the season finale, WKU and Troy will face off in the opening round of the SBC Tournament. WKU holds a 21-0 advantage in the overall series, having only dropped one set to the Trojans and winning the last 13 in straight sets. Two of the 21 matches came in the SBC Tournament (2005, 2011). WKU head coach Hudson is 20-0 against the Trojans.
In the last meeting for WKU's Senior Day, Haley Bodway had nine kills, Ashley Potts totaled 13 digs and Noelle Langenkamp had seven blocks. Melanie Stutsman recorded a double-double of 28 assists and 10 digs to go with six blocks. WKU held Troy to a -.029 hitting percentage.
