23 Three-Stars in Last Three Years
Recruiting is a necessity at the FBS level, and head coach Willie Taggart has made that his hallmark entering his third year on the Hill.
Taggart snagged the Sun Belt’s top recruiting class in each of his first two seasons and added seven three-stars during his third class. In total, Taggart has recruited 23 three-star players to WKU from 2010 to 2012.
In the previous three seasons (2007-2009) WKU had landed just six three-star recruits. The recruits have been well represented geographically, but Florida has undoubtedly been the hotbed, as 28 players from the Sunshine State have signed since 2009.
