The WKU women's soccer, swimming and diving and men's basketball programs were active in the Bowling Green community in the month of April as a part of Hilltoppers With Heart, WKU Athletics' official community service program.
Women's Soccer
Senior student-athlete Libby Stout spent her spring break helping with the WKU Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter on a trip to Washington, Penn. Along with two other students and a professor, Libby spent a week working to make improvements to a single woman's house and turn it into a home.
Swimming and Diving
The WKU swimming and diving program hosted the "Make A Splash" fundraiser at the Preston Center. The teams spent time giving swimming lessons to people in the community, and this is a part of a child-focused water safety initiative created by the USA Swimming Foundation.
Men's Basketball
The men's basketball program was a part of Relay For Life at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. The team walked laps for about an hour with numerous other Relay For Life teams in a large-scale show of support for those affected by cancer in the Bowling Green area.
