Nampa, Idaho - Western Kentucky University sophomore track and field athlete Jade Nimmo completed competition at the NCAA Indoor Championships Friday at Jacksons Track at the Idaho Center.
The Falkirk, Scotland native placed 12th in the long jump, recording a leap of 20-2.25. That effort marks the second-best jump of her collegiate career, with her best coming at the Sun Belt Conference Championship meet two weeks ago where she recorded a mark of 20-5.75.
That concludes the indoor season for WKU. The outdoor campaign will begin March 23-24 at Vanderbilt.
