If I sign up for the free student travel package, will they need anything other than my student ID?
Yes, all students will need to bring a valid debit or credit card to be put on file to cover the $50 charge. This will secure your spot on the trip and will serve as a method of payment should any damages occur in the hotel.
Can I use my student ID to get free tickets for my friends or family members?
No, there is a one ticket limit per student ID.
Do I need to go to the Ticket Office at WKU to pick up my free ticket?
No, you can pick up your ticket the day of the game at Ford Field with a valid WKU student ID. If you plan to purchase the travel package, you would need to come to the Ticket Office.
Can I order the travel package over the phone?
Students can order in person or over the phone by calling 1-800-5 BIG RED or 745-5222 locally to order the travel package. However, if students order over the phone, they must be ready to read off their WKU 800-number and their credit or debit card number over the phone.
When will the bus leave on the 26th?
This will be announced soon. It will be the morning of the 26th, but a specific time will be announced in the coming days.
Will there be any free overnight options for students on December 25th?
Unfortunately, no. Students traveling to Bowling Green for the fan bus on the night of the 25th will have to take care of their own lodging.
How many people will be assigned to a hotel room?
There will be two people per hotel room in Detroit.
