WKU Athletics would like to wish both the Coed and All Girl Cheerleading squads good luck as they travel to the 2012 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, January 13-15.
Both WKU Cheerleading squads received a partial paid bid to the 2012 National Championship along with the University of Tennessee and Mississippi State University.
In 2011, the WKU Coed squad finished 6th out of 15 Division I schools and placed higher than the University of Hawaii, University of Memphis, Ohio State University, University of Tennessee and Mississippi State University to name a few.
In 2011, the WKU All Girl squad finished tied for 6th with the University of South Florida out of 9 Division I schools and placed higher than Temple University, Rutgers University and Texas State University.
