Bowling Green, Ky. - It was announced on Tuesday that the 2011 home opener for the Western Kentucky University football team on Sept. 10 against Navy will be broadcast online at ESPN3.com. Kickoff against the Midshipmen is slated for 6 p.m. (CDT).
To date, this is the third Hilltopper game on this fall's slate to appear on the ESPN family of networks. The season opener against Kentucky on Sept. 1 in Nashville, and the Oct. 6 contest at Middle Tennessee will both be televised live on ESPNU. The Sun Belt Conference will release the Sun Belt Network Television package on July 18.
