BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champion WKU women's volleyball team will host a watch party Sunday at Buffalo Wild Wings located on Scottsville Road beginning at 4 p.m.. The NCAA Tournament selection show is scheduled to air at 5 p.m. on ESPNU.
The 64-team tournament will begin with first-and second-round play Dec. 1-4 at 16 campus sites that will announced along with the teams Sunday. The remaining 16 teams then will play from Dec. 8-11 at four predetermined regional sites (Honolulu, Hawaii; Minneapolis, Minn.; Lexington, Ky.; Gainesville, Fla.).
The final four teams will travel to San Antonio, Texas, for the championship. The semifinals will be played Dec. 15 at the Alamodome, followed by the national championship match two days later.
The Lady Toppers (31-3) earned the Sun Belt's automatic bid to the NCAAs by running the table at last week's postseason tournament in Miami. WKU defeated Troy (3-0), FIU (3-0) and Middle Tennessee (3-1) en route to the program's fourth conference title in program history and first since 2008.
The event is free and open to the public.
