August 29 marks WKU Football's first annual Family Fun Day event! Fans are encouraged to bring their entire family for FREE and spend the day with the WKU football players and coaches and also meet Big Red, the WKU cheerleaders and the Topperettes. Posters and schedule cards will also be handed out.
From 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., kids and adults of all ages can enjoy the Fun Zone filled with inflatables, interactive games, balloon art, face painting and much more. The Topper Walk begins at 3:40 p.m. down the Avenue of Champions and will be followed with an autograph session on the Houchens Industries - L.T Smith field featuring all players and coaches from 4:30 p.m. -5:30 p.m.
The full team will then participate in a mock game beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by a spectacular fireworks show at 8:30 p.m. Parking and admission is free for all. For more information on the event, please call Lindsay Thomas at 270-745-6562.
