“I truly feel that from top to bottom this group of incoming freshman has more potential than any class we have ever signed at WKU,” Head Coach David Elson said. “We signed young men from literally every position group, and I am really excited about the overall athleticism of this class. The tireless efforts of our entire coaching staff really paid off, as we had been in contact with many of our signees for well over a year. Our first-class facilities also had a tremendous impact on every recruit who took a campus visit. Once they saw our stadium, locker room, weight room and training room, they knew we were serious about winning consistently at the highest level. It is a tremendous jump from high school to college, and nothing is guaranteed. However, if the individuals in this class remain dedicated on the field and in the classroom, we will really have some special impact people coming to WKU.”
